Deutsche Bahn (DB) is Europe’s biggest railway infrastructure and mobility provider. It moves about 2 billion people every year! To facilitate DB´s business with newest technology and smartest materials, DB initiated a program called The Future of Operations & Maintenance 2021 (FOM21) with different categories. Beside process optimization, another use case is Geolocation for Trains and Objects. ANavS® took part in a very intense international competition and won the first prize in the category Geolocation for Trains and Objects. The award includes a prize of 25.000 € and a very close cooperation with DB.
