BetaFPV 75x 2s Tiny Whoop Review

This was my first adventure into the world of 2s whoops, and the Beta 75x did not disappoint! I was immediately happier with the box it showed up in. I know it seems small, but if you've ever received a half smashed drone box in the mail, you will be happier with the box as it is much sturdier. The Quad came with a single Betafpv 2s 350Mah battery and an extra set of propellers. I would highly recommend purchasing extra batteries with this thing; who can get by with just one battery? The frame is nice and sturdy and has already held up to a few good hits. The frame has a slot between the battery tray and the Flight Controller for the receiver to sit, which is a great feature. The antennas on the xm+ do kind of block the USB port and make it a struggle to get connected to the computer at first, but you can pretty easily push them out of the way to get it plugged in. This thing flies like a champion. It has more power than any other whoop I have flown by far, which you would expect from 2s and 1103 motors, and it delivers. My first flight had me laughing and surprised at the speeds I was hitting with a 75mm quad. The punch out is very impressive and if you are someone who likes to modify, could be increased even more by making some weight lowering modifications. The camera mount it comes equipped with is at a 30-degree angle and helps to keep you from staring at the ground at high speeds. The camera itself has a great picture and handles changes from dark to light pretty well. The vtx can transmit at 25mw and 200mw so it can be used for longer range whooping than most. Some are even adding HD cameras to their 75x for long range high-quality video from places you couldn't get a Dji or other video drone. This quad did struggle with yaw washout issues in dives during the first few batteries, but a trip to the 2s whoop group on facebook and there is a post with updated betaflight CLI settings you can copy and paste that really made a huge difference and pretty much eliminated the yaw washout issue. I'm sure Betafpv will be updating to these settings soon enough so they will come from the factory fixed and the yaw washout issue will be history. All together I am very pleased with this quad and will be ripping up my neighborhood even more than I was before if that's possible.
