Nuremberg After three days, this years leading trade fair for the care industry came to a successful close on Thursday, April 27. A total of more than 21,000 visitors came to the exhibition center in Nuremberg to find out from 570 exhibitors about the latest products, services and trends from the fields of care & therapy, occupation & education, IT & management, kitchen, nutrition, textile & hygiene and room & technology. In addition, around 1,500 people followed the forum program via livestream on the Internet. For the organizers, the Hanover-based media house Vincentz Network and Deutsche Messe AG, a more than successful re-start after ALTENPFLEGE 2021 had to be cancelled in Nuremberg due to the pandemic and was held in Essen in 2022 on a rotational basis. Dr. Dominik Wagemann, Publishing Director at Vincentz Network: We were once again able to bring together the key players in the care sector at ALTENPFLEGE. The trade fair and the accompanying congress have once again asserted themselves as the most important meeting place for both management and senior nursing professionals in care for the elderly. This is also confirmed by the results of the independent market research institute Gelszus from Dortmund. According to this, 92 percent of visitors to ALTENPFLEGE gave the rating good to very good. 87 per cent said they would also visit the fair in the future and 84 per cent said they would recommend the fair to others. Satisfaction among exhibitors was also correspondingly high. Alexander Vögele, Sales Controller of the Schneeweiss Group of Companies: We are back at ALTENPFLEGE for the first time since 2010 and are very satisfied with the response and quality of the visitors as well as the contacts made. Maximilian Wischer Executive Assistant at ille Papierservice: #8220;The trade show inspires with a colorful, mixed audience consisting of trade visitors and decision-making personnel. And Julia Arndt, Marketing and Event Manager at opta data: We are absolutely satisfied, especially with the organization of the fair. We really liked the quality of the visitors, just like the location. We will definitely be back next year. *) According to the market research institute Gelszus, 84 percent of exhibitors said they were completely satisfied to satisfied with the trade show. This year, the most important topics at the 33rd leading trade show and the accompanying trade show congress included the telematics infrastructure, the digitization of care, the ongoing shortage of skilled workers and the economic stabilization of care facilities. Dr. Dominik Wagemann: In line with our motto this year Shaping care. WE. TOGETHER. we succeeded, together with all those involved, in discussing and concretizing solutions to the major challenges both at the trade fair and at the congress. A special highlight of the trade fair this year was once again the special presentation AVENEO Space for Innovation. More than 50 start-ups, students, research institutions and universities presented their ideas and showed concepts from the fields of care, technology, the Internet of Things, design, architecture and the care and social economy. The best ideas were awarded prizes by a top-class jury as part of the Start-Up Challenge and presented with attractive marketing packages. The next ALTENPFLEGE will take place from April 23 to 25, 2024 in Essen. *) Further exhibitor comments: Samuel Nitsche, management assistant at CARELINE GmbH: The trade fair was super, we made great contacts.
