With JW Flex, J.v.G. technology GmbH has made a quantum leap in the solar industry, because this module can be mounted on any desired substrate. This new solar manufacturing technology is available now. Freystadt/Oberpfalz – One innovation from the solar equipment manufacturer, J.v.G. technology GmbH, trumps all others. While introducing a high-performance, long-lasting module capable of operating in deserts without degradation, the company is also introducing JW Flex to the world. This modular development is groundbreaking because it doesn’t require a substructure. How is that possible? It’s made possible by a highly flexible approach to its construction. A polymer film envelops the silicon cells on the front and back, which makes JW Flex flexible in every direction. This module can even be mounted on crowned surfaces. Furthermore, at three kilograms per square meter, it is ultra-light. These flexible modules are highly productive particularly when the sunlight is very indirect. This high performance comes from the spherical arrangement of the silicon. JW Flex has been developed in cooperation with the Bavarian company, Jurawatt GmbH. A variety of patents have already been registered for this new technology. The JW Flex is as flexible in its deployment as it is simple to mount. The modules are hung using eyelets or fastened to the substrate. The solar module manufacturer, Jurawatt, will make the JW Flex modules into a production series from January 2012 in Neumarkt, Germany. Just one month later, production will start at the Jurasolar plant in Korea. But J.v.G. technology will offer the manufacturing technology required for this production to any interested parties that want to invest in solar turnkey energy production.
