Nussig im Aroma, aber dabei un auf dringlich im Ge schmack, lässt sie sich kulinarisch mit vielen Gemüse sorten und Geschmäckern zubereiten ist dabei leicht zu verdauen und stärkt das Immun system durch viele wert volle Inhaltsstoffe. Und woher kommt die Zucchini ursprünglich?Die aus Mittelamerika stammende Zucchini ist eine Art Gartenkürbis (Zucchine = kleiner Kürbis) und gehört damit zur Familie der Beerenfrüchte. Im Aussehen ähnelt die Zucchini der Gurke, jedoch ist das Fruchtfleisch viel fester und geschmacksintensiver. Die Frucht gedeiht an schnell wachsenden Pflanzen deren Arten sich in Form, Größe, Farbe und Geschmack unterscheiden. Damit sind sie nicht nur kalorienarm, sondern zudem reich an Nährstoffen, darunter B-Vitamine, Vitamin C, Betacarotin (Provitamin A) sowie wichtige Mineralstoffe wie Kalium, Phosphor und Eisen. Außerdem sind sie gut bekömmlich und leicht verdaulich. Zucchini zuzubereiten geht schnell und einfach: Da Zucchini eine dünne Schale haben, müssen sie nicht geschält werden. Je frischer sie zubereitet wird, desto besser ist ihr Aroma. Man kann Zucchini kalt und auch warm essen, zu Salaten – genauso wie als Pfannengemüse oder aus dem Ofen.Tipp zur Lagerung: Die optimalen Lagerungsorte sind Kellerräume oder Speisekammern, die dunkel sind und eine Temperatur zwischen 12 und 15 Grad haben.
